Abstract

V.G. Kostomarov (1930-2020) – academician, founder and first rector of the State Institute of the Russian Language named after A.S. Pushkin. In 1990-2003 – President of the International Association of Teachers of Russian Language and Literature (МАПРЯЛ). The Kostomarovsky Forum was established in memory of the recognized scientist. "Russian – the language of science, education, culture, profession" - thematic areas of the forum, which reflect the current problems of modern Russian studies.
