THE LINGUISTIC PICTURE OF THE WORLD AND THE LINGUISTIC PERSONALITY IN THE SCIENTIFIC LITERATURE

The mediated picture of the world is the result of fixation of the conceptual sphere by secondary sign systems that materialize the immediate cognitive picture of the world existing in consciousness. These are the linguistic and artistic pictures of the world. An artistic picture of the world is a secondary picture of the world. It arises in the reader's mind when he perceives a work of art. There are as many national linguistic pictures of the world as there are languages, each of which reflects the unique result of the centuries-old work of collective ethnic consciousness on understanding and categorizing human existence in the Universe.
