Abstract

In the article discusses the significance of A.S. Pushkin in the creative fate of I.A. Goncharova. The role of Pushkin’s text in Goncharov’s novel «Ordinary History» is examined in detail. The author identifies the main functions of Pushkin's text in the writer's novel. It accompanies all stages of the life path of Alexander Aduev, is a literary context for the development of the plot, performs the functions of precedent texts, and unfolds a possible version of the fate of Pushkin’s Lensky in the sociocultural conditions of the 1840 s. The article is recommended for teachers of Russian language and literature, philologists, and students of philological faculties.
