Abstract

This review examines the new university textbook "Intercultural Communication," prepared by I.S. Sargsyan and N.I. Tatkalo. Currently, attention to the role and place of intercultural communication as an academic discipline of particular importance is both natural and relevant, as the understanding and need for knowledge of cultural codes in interpersonal relationships has increased to foster students' interest in the heritage and traditions of different cultures and civilizations and to develop the skills to apply acquired professional skills in verbal communication.
