A COMPARATIVE EXAMINATION OF ARMENIAN AND RUSSIAN IDIOMS WITH WORD-COMPONENTS OF CLOTHERS OR ITS PARTS

Abstract

 Phraseological units with word-components  of clothers or  its parts represent pictorial emo­ti­onal and evaluative approaches to people's worldview. An internal stereotype is created that contains basic information which reflects folk culture. In our article, we have tried to give a comparative description of Armenian and Russian phrases with word-components  of clothers or  its parts  emphasizing in which language are most often found idioms composed with clothes or its parts and what is the justification of its folk characteristics.
