PEDAGOGICAL DISCOURSE AS A CRITICAL FACTOR IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF UNIVERSITY STUDENTS' COMMUNICATIVE COMPETENCE

Abstract

This article explores the development of the discursive and communicative competence of students at a university. It is noted that in the context of the globalization, educational phenomena such as cooperation, mastering discursive competence, and developing the communicative culture of a 21st-century individual have become increasingly relevant. Consequently, the primary task of education is the formation of discursive competence in pedagogical communication in the professional training of a linguist-teacher at a university. In this context, bilingual education is of great importance, within the framework of which the linguistic-communicative, phonological, discursive and communicative competencies of students are effectively formed. Based on the focus of our research, we have identified the means, methods, and technologies for developing students' discursive and communicative competence in the process of bilingual education.
