ARTISTIC-CINEMATOGRAPHIC RECEPTION OF F. M. DOSTOEVSKY AS A POSSIBLE REALITY

Abstract

In the constantly changing and globalizing world, focused on satisfying basic needs and intentionally ignoring or distorting ethical values and categories, it is particularly important to turn to significant and authoritative - timeless - literary figures, whose creative legacy preserves and conveys the moral creed that is essential for spiritual survival and human development. With the emergence of digital visualization methods, the adaptation of artistic - authorial - texts to the screen is being actualized, allowing for the transmission of moral ideas, which are the leitmotif of Dostoevsky's works, to a maximum number of recipients. The focus of this article is on the ethical feasibility and prospects of screen adaptations of texts by the great Russian classic.
