MAIN APPROACHES AND METHODS OF TEACHING RUSSIAN AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE TO THE ARMENIAN AUDIENCE

Abstract

Teaching Russian as a foreign language in the Republic of Armenia is one of the most important and pressing problems today. The article analyzes the main approaches and modern methods of teaching Russian as a foreign language at the initial stage, and also presents a Russian language textbook for beginners, created in collaboration with Russian specialists in Armenia and tested in various universities of the republic. In the textbook, the RFL methodology is adapted both for Armenian students who do not speak Russian and for foreign citizens coming to the Republic of Armenia In the textbook, the RKI methodology is adapted both for Armenian students who do not speak Russian and for foreign citizens who come to the RA and want to study Russian.
