Abstract

Modern approaches to teaching RFL focus on communicative and intercultural competence, the ability to competently and adequately use a foreign language in real-life situations. The case study method allows you to model real situations in which the student does not just use the language, but solves problems based on the context, communication partner and cultural environment. The use of cases in RFL lessons meets modern requirements for language education: they make lessons interactive, focused and close to real communication, contributing to the formation of confident and flexible users of Russian as a foreign language.
