SOME STYLISTIC TECHNIQUES IN THE EARLY STORIES OF A.CHEKHOV AND THEIR TRANSMISSION IN ARMENIAN TRANSLATIONS

The article analyzes some stylistic techniques used by A.Chekhov in his early humorous stories. Techniques such as the use of vernacular language, peculiar intonation, incorrect words and expressions in the heroes՚ speech, as well as ways of conveying these techniques in Armenian translations are considered.
